The Princess Theater was constructed in 1924. It was the premier place to go to see entertainment in North Mississippi.
It began as a vaudeviulle house and was later used as a movie theater, and a venue for plays and other live entertainment.
As a music venue, it has hosted such acts as the Allman Brothers and Eddie Money. As of late it has fallen into bad repair.
It's previous owners had abused and neglected it. Thanks to the efforts of Dr Mark Burtman NEW OWNER. who Purchased the building,
The Prinecss is on it's way back to greatness. Now the old (and supposedly haunted) showcase is re-opened again!
